Day 8 -- Australia and Singapore Trip

Itinerary:

• Breakfast at hotel
• Green Island

After a quick breakfast, we went to the Marina to catch the ferry to Green Island.

After about 45 minutes boat ride, we arrive at Green Island. It's a very small island which we could walk around in less than 1 hour. Once we arrived at the island, we went for the glass boat ride and saw many fishes, sharks and turtles.

After the glass boat ride, we went snorkeling around the beach and it was great as we get to see many fishes.

We had a quick lunch and spent the rest of the afternoon walking around the island.

After the walk, we snorkel a little more before it was time to return.

Day 6 -- Australia and Singapore Trip

Itinerary:

• Breakfast at Pool Terrace Restaurant
• Flight from Hamilton Island to Cairns
• Cairns Museum
• Cairns Esplanade
• Reef Hotel Casino
• Cairns Marina
• Cairns Night Market
• Dinner at Ganbaranba Japanese Restaurant

We had our breakfast at the Pool Terrace Restaurant before checking out to catch our flight to Cairns, our next destination.

We took a few pictures of the hotel before leaving.

We then took the hotel shuttle to get to the airport which is about a 5 minutes drive.

After about 1 hour flight, we reached Cairns Airport and took the taxi to our hotel. Our hotel is situated in the downtown area, so after checking in, we walked around the downtown.

We had a quick lunch before heading to the museum.

After the museum, we went to check out the Cairns Esplanade.

We also went to check out the casino in Reef Hotel and it was a pretty basic casino with 2 stories.

Next, we went to the Marina to check out the different restaurants.

We also went to check out the Cairns Night Market.

We found a Japanese restaurant which had a lot of people waiting, so decided to have dinner here.

On the way back to our hotel, we saw a convenience store whose hour is from 6am to late. I don't know what late means? Do they close any time they want?
