After breakfast, we took the shuttle as we were going to check out Chinatown and visit the different temples.

On the way to Chinatown, we passed by Golden Budhha and decided to visit it.

After visiting Golden Buddha, we passed by Chinatown.

On the way to take the Chao Phraya Express boat ride to Grand Palace, we saw a Tuk Tuk which is very popular in Thailand as transportation.

After buying the boat tickets at N5 Ratchawangse, we were on our way to Grand Palace which is at  N9 Tha Chang. The boat was full of people but we were lucky to find some seats when others got off at earlier stop.

After we reach the destination pier, we get off the boat and walked for about 10 minutes to queue up to enter Grand Palace. There was some stalls along the way selling food and souvenirs.

Subsequent after visiting Grand Palace, we walked about 10 minutes to Wat Pho aka The Temple of the Reclining Buddha and it was pretty tiring under the hot sun.

Once we reached Wat Pho, we paid for admission which was 200 Baht per person and queued up to get in. There was 2 lines, one for locals and another for foreigners.

The highlight of Wat Pho is seeing the reclining Buddha which is about 46 meters long and covered in gold leaf. As with all the temples in Thailand, we had to take off our shoes to enter and there was a long line. The reclining Buddha is so big that it almost took up the entire building inside. It was very impressive.

On the way out, we went to redeem for an ice cold water using our admission ticket. It was nice drinking ice cold water on such a hot day. There is also a massage place inside Wat Pho where you have to book in advance if you want to have a massage.

We walked back to the Saphan Taksin boat pier N8 Tha Tien to take a boat to Wat Arun also known as Temple of Dawn, which is across the river.

After a very short boat ride, we arrived at Pier 8 and walked towards Wat Arun. On the way there, we passed by another temple and went inside to check it out. The temple has beautiful statues and carvings.

Afterwards, we walked to Wat Arun, which is also known as Temple of Dawn and built with beautiful porcelain all over.

Upon taking lots of pictures at Wat Arun, we decided to head to Asiatique The Riverfront. So, we had to line up for the boat ride to Sathorn Central Pier first and take another boat to Asiatique, which is only open in the afternoon from 4:30pm to 9pm.

Here's a video on our way to Asiatique.

Once we reached Sathorn, we had to queue up in another line to take a boat to Asiatique. The boat to Asiatique is free as it is provided by the owner of Asiatique. Although the line was long but there were many boats, so we didn't wait too long before we were aboard.

We were one of the first group of people coming to Asiatique as it is just open at 5pm, so there weren't as many people. But later when we left at night, the place was crowded with people.

Trying out Thai ice tea flavor soft serve at the famous Cha Tra Mue. It was really good on a hot day and we also bought many of their instant Thai tea to bring home. It's a must buy if you ever go to Thailand.

After checking out some of the stalls around, we decided to give our legs a rest and look for a restaurant to have our dinner. The only requirement was to find a place with strong air conditioning as we had been under the hot sun almost the entire day. We finally found a place MK Restaurants where they serve steamboat. Even though it was hot outside but the restaurant was very cold and comfortable, so we decided to eat there.

The food was alright, nothing to rave about but it served our purpose as it was very cold inside the restaurant and we got to rest our legs after walking the entire day. After dinner and a good rest, we continue to walk around and check out various stalls.

Next, we saw a dessert place and decided to try it out. As the name Mango Tango imply, it's mainly a store selling dessert made with mangoes.

After dessert, we decided to check out more stores and it was getting dark already.

We passed by a durian place and I decided to try their durian ice cream as the kids stayed far away from me. They were not fond of the durian smell. I was finally able to get Maddie to taste the durian ice cream and it was a No for her. On the other hand, I was a fan of anything durian.

We also checked out more places to buy some snacks home.

We took the boat back to Sathorn Central Pier to take the Skytrain back to our hotel. On the way to our hotel, we had to connect at Terminal 21, so decided to go to the foodcourt and buy some food to end our day. It was a tiring day but we had lots of fun visiting the various temples and also having great food.
