We had breakfast at the hotel before heading out to Jim Thompson Museum.
Jim Thompson House Museum is close to Siam Paragon where we went last night. To get there, we have to take MRT from Phetchaburi MRT station near the hotel to Sukhumvit station where Terminal 21 Shopping Mall is, then transfer from Skytrain Asok station to exit at Siam station.
Getting off at Siam station, we had to walk about 10 minutes to Jim Thompson House Museum and luckily they are open today which is a public holiday.
The fee for admission is Baht $200 for adults and half price for under 22 years old.
After the tour, we were going to check out their shop and saw an employee pulling on the silk cocoon.
After watching for a while, we went inside their shop where they sold scarves, clothes, handbags and many other things that are made of silk.
The food here is not as tasty as the ones in Terminal 21. After lunch, we shop around more.
After leaving MBK center, we decided to go to Siam Discovery which is across.
Next, we went to Siam Center, then to Siam Paragon which we also visited yesterday. There are a bunch of malls around here named after Siam, so that's why you will see Siam Discovery, Siam Center, Siam Paragon and Siam Square One. There might be more that I have not listed here.
Next we went to Central World which is another upscale mall.
We went on the overhead bridge and was able to see the crowd at Erawan Shrine which is a very popular Shrine in Bangkok.
Next, we went to Gaysorn Village Shopping Mall.
After walking around, we decided to go to Big C Supercenter to buy some snacks home.
After getting our souvenirs, we decided to head back to Siam Square One to check out the Line Village Store and also have dinner at Somboon Seafood as they are famous for their fried curry crabs.
Finally, it was our turn and we were so happy.
The highlight of this seafood restaurant was this fried curry crab. The sauce was amazing delicious

After paying for our admission, we went inside for the tour. The tours are divided into different languages and we joined the English tour. We had to wait about 15 minutes or so before our tour guide came and took us to a designated locker area to put our belongings. We were only allowed cellphones and cameras.
Our tour guide took us around the garden and outside of the house while explaining the history of Jim Thompson who disappeared in 1967 in Malaysia. We had to wait outside for a little while as they only allowed limited number of people inside the house. We were also told that we are not allowed to touch anything so as to preserve the property.

After watching for a while, we went inside their shop where they sold scarves, clothes, handbags and many other things that are made of silk.
Upon shopping in the store, we decided to go to nearby MBK Center to check it out.
There were many different small stores inside the MBK Center and we walked around before deciding to go to the 6th floor for lunch.
Again, we have to find the cashier first to buy the card.
After leaving MBK center, we decided to go to Siam Discovery which is across.

After buying bags of snacks, we went to Central World to buy some souvenirs. I highly recommend buying bags from NaRaYa as it's very pretty and inexpensive. There are many branches around in Bangkok.
After getting our souvenirs, we decided to head back to Siam Square One to check out the Line Village Store and also have dinner at Somboon Seafood as they are famous for their fried curry crabs.
When we reached Somboon Seafood, we were shocked at the crowd, there was so many people waiting and we had to get a number. The wait time was more than 1 hour but it was so worth it. Their fried curry crab was one of the best that I had.
While waiting, we also walked around the mall to check out other restaurants to pass time.

I would say this is our best dinner here in Thailand and would come back anytime even if there is a long wait.
