Today, we are going to California Adventure Park. We arrived right after they opened and it wasn't as crowded as Disneyland.
The dads went to get the fast pass for Radiator Spring Racers while we went for the Toy Story Midway Mania in Paradise Pier. On the way there, we passed by the beautiful ferris wheel.
The line was long and we waited for a long time. By the time, it was almost our turn, we were turned away as someone had got off their ride before they are supposed to, so they had to shut the ride down for safety check. What a bummer! So, the kids went on the ride of the King Triton's Carousel before heading to Mater's Junkyard Jamboree in Cars Land.
Next, we went to Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters. This is a new ride as it was a different ride the last time we were here a few years ago.
We went on the Tuck and Roll's Drive 'Em Buggies, Francis' Ladybug Boogie and Flik’s Flyers.
Next, we went to see Moana which is a 4D show and used to be It's tough to be a bug. Moana is new Disney show that just went on theater.
After the show, we went to have some ice cream.
On the way, we saw Princess Sofia so we stopped to have a picture taken.
Afterwards, we went back to Hollywood Land to queue up for the Frozen's musical. Since it was the last show of the day, we had to go early so that they don't run out of space. The last time we were here, we watched the Aladdin show which was great as well.
We had a great time watching the musical and it was well worth the ticket we bought for the park. After the show, we decided to try our luck at Toy Story Midway Mania since we were turned away this morning. This time, we had better luck and were able to get on the ride. We went to check for the Radiator Spring Racers and were told that the ride was still down, so we weren't able to get on it. Mason really love this ride the last time we were here.
After the ride, we decided to head back to the hotel for dinner as it was Matthew's 14th birthday. On the way to the exit, we stopped by to have a picture with Mickey. We would have stayed longer to watch the World of Color but since we had a birthday celebration, we left early.
