We have no plans for today, so decided to check out another mall nearby. While walking around the mall, we found a cafe, Dazzling Cafe. We decided to check it out as I have seen many pictures of this cafe from other bloggers. I was quite surprised that there was no wait on a Sunday.
This cafe is well known for their dessert (honey toast) but they also served main course. So we ordered their main entree and drinks. The food and drinks were really tasty. There is a minimum surcharge per person, so if you order a drink each, that would be sufficient. But since we were hungry, we ordered the main course as well.
They asked if we wanted the dessert to be served along with the main course or after. We chose to serve after the main course. They brought out the beautiful strawberry honey toast and asked if we want to take some pictures before they cut it for us. Of course, I wanted to take pictures and later, the waitress cut the toast for us. Basically, honey toast is toast where they removed the inside and stuff it with ice cream and fruits.
After a delicious meal, we continue to walk around the mall.
After walking for a while, we decided to head back and brought some snacks and drinks along the way.
We bought more steamed buns as my grandma loves them. For my trip this time, I wanted to buy food that my grandma likes so that she can eat as much as she wants.
On the way to her house, we passed by the wet market.
After visiting my grandma, we headed out for dinner. We had spicy steamboat where you can pick beef, pork, seafood and they will put in spicy broth to cook the food. There are different levels of spiciness, so you can choose how spicy you want.
After dinner, we bought some popcorn chicken as snacks. Popcorn chicken is made where small pieces of marinated chicken are fried. At the stall, they have all kinds of different food where you can pick what you like and they will fry for you.
