Itinerary:
- Relax at the hotel
I didn't have any plans for today since I was thinking that we would be sleeping in as we stayed up late for the New Year. Anthony and I took turns going to the gym before we woke the kids up for breakfast.
The gym is pretty nice where it has a nice view of the ocean. On the same floor, there is also a tennis and basketball court.
We went to their buffet restaurant La Plaza for breakfast.
After breakfast, we rested a while before taking the kids to the kids area where they have water slides and kidz club.
After playing there for a while, we headed for lunch at La Hacienda Beach Grill where they also served buffet lunch.
After lunch, we went to the kidz club as Maddie wanted to attend the art and crafts session. She was making a necklace. While she was there, Mason played soccer with the other kids.
Maddie finished making her necklace and we went to check out another restaurant nearby. Zaffiro restaurant serves pizza for lunch and has a different menu for dinner.
After pizza, we were very full and decided to just sit at the lobby enjoying the view below. We ordered a cookies and cream frappuccino to share while the kids used the computers inside the coffee shop.
Afterwards, the kids wanted to go swimming again, so we went to the pools and I ordered myself a strawberry margarita.
Soon, it was time to have dinner. We picked the Japanese restuarant Dozo again and this time, we went for their regular table.
I ordered my favorite drink, Cosmopolitan as a celebration for the New Year. Hope 2018 is even better than 2017. May all my friends and family have good health in 2018.
We went for their kids show after that and it was quite boring, so we stayed for just a little bit.
As usual, we had ice cream and Mason had a hot dog for snack before heading back to our room.
The chef sent us a plate of dessert and it was amazing.
We turned in early today as we had a morning ATV tour tomorrow.
