Day 5 -- Cancun, Mexico

06/17/2016 Wednesday

Today we don't have much plans except to spend most of the day at the pools and beach. My brother had rented the cabana for the day, so we plan to just hang around together at the pool.

As usual, we went to the buffet restaurant for our breakfast. We were lucky this morning as they gave us a really good table with very nice view of the pool and ocean.

I had a mimosa along with my breakfast.

Then, we went to our cabana and just eat and drink while the kids played in the pool.

Maddie trying to fill up her plastic water bottle with her favorite apple cider. She thought she was smart and the water bottle was bigger, so she could have more apple cider in the plastic bottle by transferring the can of apple cider to the plastic bottle. But little did she know that they were the same size.

They have activities for the kids every day. Today, we booked pizza making class for the kids, so while they went and make pizza, the adults were to have lunch. We went to the same restaurant where they were making pizza so that we can also watch them.

Every kid takes turn to make their own custom pizza. Since Maddie doesn't like cheese, her pizza doesn't have cheese on it.

Mason, on the other hand, loves cheese, so his pizza has lots of cheese.

After the pizza is made, the chef put them in the oven for bake. In 20 minutes, the pizzas were done and the kids were given their pizzas.

The kids having a good time eating the pizzas they made.

After lunch, we went back to the cabana and the kids went back to the pool.

We also booked pottery painting this afternoon for the kids. The painting is right by the pool, which was perfect for us. All the kids activities don't require the parents to be there as there are staff to watch over the kids. But I like to be there so that I can take pictures of them.

It's pretty good for parents if they want some alone time, they could just sign the kids up for the activities and daycare, so that the staff can watch over the kids while the parents relax.

After the ceramic painting, we went to change before going for dinner. We plan to try out the different restaurants for each night. Unfortunately, after having the food, I felt that this is my least favorite restaurant.

The 2 cousins wearing the same clothes without planning.

The oldest cousins together, looking super tan.

And of course, we had to have a family picture.

After dinner, we decided to go to the mall and check it out. Took more pictures of the kids on the way to the bus stop. The bus stop was right outside the hotel which is about 5 minutes walk.

We took the bus there as it was close by.

The mall was in an open area and was very well maintained.

We walked around and went to the different stores. Before long, it was dark and we decided to head back to the hotel.
