Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort (Oahu, Hawaii)

Our hotel for Oahu is Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. One of the reasons that I picked this hotel is that it is across from Embassy Suite where my brother and his family are staying. Another reason is that it offers complimentary vow renewal and is right on the beach. The vow renewal is offered every Tuesday and Friday at this hotel and at Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort, it is every Mondays ad Thursday.

The hotel only has valet parking and like most hotels charges resort fee which include a tote bag, 2 bottles of water each day, coffee and tea, free wi-fi, free daily activities. We didn't go to any of the free activities as we were usually not at the hotel during those times.

The hotel amenities is average for a 4 star hotel. It only has 1 pool and the gym is small. But I like that when we check in, they gave us a very delicious drink and a wet towel to wipe our hands/face. I love the drink and it tasted like passion fruit sparking soda. They also have beautiful fresh orchids at the check in counter.

The rooms are pretty decent size and clean. They also have a large balcony and some nights, I would just sit there and enjoy the breeze. This is also where I was when I saw the fireworks from the Hilton Hawaiian Village on Friday nights.
