Itinerary:
- Day trip to Sentosa Island
1. Take MRT from HarbourFront to Sentosa Station
2. Take cable car
3. Walk via Sentosa BoardWalk
4. Take bus
Since it was a nice walk in the open space, we decided to walk across the boardwalk to enter Sentosa.
After the walk, we bought our tickets to Sentosa. There is no admission tickets to enter Sentosa, we are buying the "Play 5 Attractions Day Pass" where we can pick 5 attractions inside Sentosa to go to. Universal Studio is also in Sentosa, so you can also buy the bundle ticket to include Universal Studio. We didn't buy it as we will be leaving tomorrow night, so there's not much time left.
First, we picked the aquarium and went to exchange for tickets to enter the aquarium. You will need your "Sentosa Fun" card to exchange tickets for each of the attraction that you want to go to.
After the aquarium, we went for the Royal Albatross Dockside tour which is part of the package for selecting the aquarium. The Royal Albatross was featured in the 2008 Batman movie, The Dark Knight and also in the Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Again, we have to go exchange for tickets before we can enter the Royal Albatross. We had to take off our shoes to get on the boat.
After a quick self tour, we left the boat to continue to our next attraction. We walked to the Sentosa Merlion station to take the cable car to Siloso Point.
We were able to see Sentosa from up high. After getting off the station, we walked around to check out Siloso Beach. It was pretty hot, so we just walked a little bit before getting some cold dessert.
We were debating if we want to try out the Segway but it was just too hot for me. So, we took the bus to Palawan Beach to check out the most Southernmost Point of Continental Asia..
Afterwards, we took the bus again to tour the island as we didn't want to walk in the hot, humid sun. After the bus tour, we decided to head back to the entrance where most of the restaurants are to eat our lunch.
We sat at the restaurant for a while to enjoy their AC before heading out again the trick eye museum.
After the trick eye museum, we decided to go to get tickets for the Wings of Time show tonight. After we got the tickets, Anthony went to buy the Skyline Luge tickets as it's not included in the package we bought. I didn't go and instead went to a nearby restaurant to get a drink and wait for him. It was way too hot for me.
He had lots of fun and definitely recommend this attraction. Soon, it was time to go to our last attraction of the day, which is the show.
It was a pretty nice show with lots of fireworks. Once the show ended, we left Sentosa to go to VivoCity for dinner before heading back to our hotel.
