Today is our last full day in Tokyo as we will be leaving for Singapore tomorrow. We decided to venture a bit further away from Tokyo Shinjuku area into the southern part of Tokyo called Odaiba. Odaiba is a man made island in Tokyo Bay and has many shopping malls.

First, we had our breakfast at the hotel as usual and the kids have a swim in the hotel before we venture out.

Before we take the metro to Odaiba, we decided to stop by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building which is across from our hotel. We went to the South Observatory and there was a line to enter the elevator to the top of the building which is on the 45th floor. On a clear day, we can see Mount Fuji at the top of the building.

After spending some time on the top of the building to view the amazing Tokyo city skyline, we went downstairs to their store.

Next, we decided to proceed to Odaiba. In order to go to Odaiba, we had to transfer at Shiodome Station, so we decided to come out and see if there's any restaurant for lunch. There were many different restaurants and we decided to go to Marugame for Udon. If you haven't noticed, my daughter is a fan of noodles, so most of our meals are with noodles.

After lunch, we decided to continue our journey to Odaiba by taking the Metro to Daiba Station.

Once we alighted from the Metro Station, we saw the Fuji Television Main Building with a globe shaped portion of the building which you can see from the pictures below.

There is also a French Statue of Liberty given by the French at the Odaiba Beach Park and the famous rainbow bridge.

There was a Shrine inside the Aqua City mall, so we decided to check it out.

We also saw a place where they have cute little dogs for sale.

There are so many different malls at Odaiba and we went to a few of them to browse around.

As it was starting to get late, we headed back to our hotel and had dinner there.

My husband and I decided to venture out to Kabuikicho again as I wanted to check out Hotel Gracery and also buy some more snacks and souvenirs since we will be leaving Japan tomorrow.
