Here is a picture of the Natto which is a traditional Japanese food that is made of fermented bean. I tasted it and it's definitely not something that I would eat again.
After breakfast, my parents decided to stay at the hotel as they were sick from yesterday's rain. We took the metro to Tokyo Station.
After getting off the Tokyo Station, we took some pictures outside the station as it's beautiful. This is one of the main stations where a lot of different metro lines connect.
Afterwards, we had to walk about 10 minutes to the Imperial Palace. Once we reached there, we walked around the outside of the Imperial Palace to enjoy the view before entering. It was such a beautiful day compared to yesterday's raining day.
Before we left, we went to return the Admission Ticket to the counter and took the metro to Asakusa Station as we planned to visit Senso-Ji Temple, which is the oldest temple in Tokyo. Once we alighted at the Asakusa Station, we had to only walk a couple of minutes before we reached Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate). There was a few rickshaws nearby where you can take to go around the area.
After taking some pictures in front of Kaminarimon, we went inside to the Nakamise Shopping Street where they sell lots of local food and souvenirs.
After visiting Senso-Ji Temple, we moved on to our next destination which is the Tokyo Skytree. We decided to walk there which is about 20 to 25 minutes walk.
On the way to Tokyo Skytree, we passed by the Sumida River and Sumida Park. We also had to cross the Kototoi Bridge.
Once we reached the Tokyo Solamachi Mall at the base of Tokyo Skytree, we looked for a restaurant to have lunch and rest our legs.
After shopping at the various stores, we decided to head back and rest. In the evening, we went to Kabukicho near our hotel.
